Ask Sherlock "The UK Directory" is an online database of mainly UK links, Established 1996 with the intention of providing accurate Internet data to the UK community.

Ask Sherlock is a free service and is sponsored by Multimedia Consultants supplying the Internet back bone and technical services.

Your job as a search engine Editor/Webmaster, would be to maintaining an on line directory of UK links. Ask Sherlock offers a comprehensive set of tools for adding, deleting, and updating links in an instant. For just a few minutes of your time you can help make the Web a better place and help keep data on the net relevant.

Becoming an Editor:
You can join the Ask Sherlock team, and help keep data on the net relevant by adding and editing a links directory.

The application takes a few short seconds, and your work will be visible on the WEB. Help make the Web a better, more organised place, HUMANS do it far better.

What you need

No knowledge of computers is required however an interest in your work is paramount and a good understanding of the English Language is necessary. An hour or so a week.
Also a reasonable knowledge of your local area or the UK.

Any support and training is given online.

Editors should be aware that using this system, solely to to promote ones own Internet interests or to abuse any active links, is not tolerated.
